Seems David Carradine’s widow has come forward with a wrongful death lawsuit, alleging that Carradine was not provided with adequate services to protect him from Bangkok. The lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles, California also claimed damages against the French film company for failing to follow industry standard and provide David Carradine with sufficient assistant during the course of filming Stretch in Bangkok, Thailand.
Honestly, there’s no assistant in Bangkok that would have protected him from the tragedy that resulted in his own action. While sad and truly tragic that Carradine died while in Bangkok, from this traveler’s experience, Bangkok is not a dangerous place, especially if you stay in a 5 star luxury hotel in the financial business district of Bangkok.
